I wish I have a nose like him..

How many times in our life have we wished for something that others have? How many times have we hoped to be like someone else? Based on my personal experience, I bet there were many! Even I couldn’t really put them into numerical symbols. I think it’s normal for us to feel inadequate and to wish for a larger eyes or a fairer skin – and the list goes on – because in reality nobody’s perfect. However, when we keep on wishing and hoping for something that couldn’t be changed – although you can if you have the money..you know what I mean? – don’t you think it’s a bit tiring and somewhat pathetic? I am not writing about someone I know or a group of people that I came to know. NO! Don’t get me wrong. I am just writing based on what I feel because I too have experienced a period of inferiority and inadequacy in my life and trust me..it sucks! My point is that we should be grateful with what we have and that even if it’s normal to wish for something better, it should not make us feel bad about ourselves. In fact, if we keep on wishing and dreaming and feeling that we are imperfect, when will we ever be comfortable with ourselves? However, this is not to say that when you do not do well in your studies you don’t have to do anything to improve it because you feel comfortable with what you have. No! It’s a big NO because I am a true believer in hard work and perseverance – and this is a whole new story. Getting back to the point that I made earlier..well folks, we are all beautiful (you rock Christina!). I have gone through a point in my life where I let other’s words take me down and I don’t want it to happen again. I don’t want it to happen to anyone of YOU. So embrace yourself and love yourself because if you don’t, then nobody will.
