i was sitting in my room..surfing the net when the tranquility of the rather cloudy sfternoon was broken by the ring of the bell..i wondered who it was and it turned out to be two little girls selling kuih from house to house..i thought this was the first time they paid a visit to our house..however, i disovered from my mother that they had come several times before..the only difference was that previously there were four of them..another girl and a small little boy.. Their presence has somewhat made me realize how lucky i was..On a Saturdy, i can sit relaxingly in my room surfing the internet and do many other stuffs that do not require much use of my nerves and muscles.. but yet..i always complain most of the time..takde ni lah..kenapa mcm ni, tak mcm tu.. whereas those kids..gosh..i really felt like i am soooo ungrateful.. they have to sell kuih from house to house to help their parents support their living..and God knows the dangers lurking out there that may harm those innocent children..i almost cried when i saw those kids.. I recalled the same occurence that happened in shah alam..while i was enjoying lunch with my family at a restaurant..a little girl came to us..asking us whether we were interested to buy kerepek.. at such an early age these children have started to take the responsibility to support their family while many of us are enjoying a good life provided by our parents.. well, this has really made me realize and taught me that i should be grateful with what i have as there are many more unfortunate and inadequate (material wise) people who are struggling to survive this rather cruel world..I think this may be a reminder from Allah to me..to make me realize how lucky i am..and I thank Allah for that..
